Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Snapzi(“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you use our website and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
Snapzi is an affiliate publishing platform for influencers. You connect your own social media accounts, and Snapzi publishes coupon posts to those accounts on your behalf.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information you provide
- Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure one-way hash — we never store your password itself).
- Verification information: figures you submit when applying to be verified, such as your following count and monthly views, plus any note you add.
- Content choices: which Snapzi coupon posts and images you select, and any caption you edit before publishing.
b) Information from the social accounts you connect
When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account, that platform gives us a limited set of data for the account you chose:
- The account's ID, username/handle, display name, and profile picture.
- Follower count (used to check eligibility).
- An access token that lets us publish on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest and are never shown to you or to anyone else.
- The status and public link of posts we published for you, so we can show you whether a post is live.
We do not receive your social media password, private messages, or the content of posts we did not publish.
c) Information collected automatically
- Log and device data: IP address, browser and device type, access times, and pages viewed.
- Activity records: logins, account connections, and publish actions are recorded in an audit log for security and support.
- Cookies and local storage: see Section 6.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account, and keep you signed in.
- Publish the coupon posts you select (or that Snapzi selects, if you turn on Auto mode) to the accounts you connected.
- Check whether you meet the eligibility criteria to publish.
- Check that a published post is still live, which determines whether it qualifies for payment.
- Calculate and record your earnings and payouts.
- Send you service emails — for example email verification and password resets.
- Provide support, investigate problems, and detect fraud or abuse.
- Improve and maintain the Services, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- With the social platforms you connect: we send your selected image and caption to Meta (Facebook/Instagram) in order to publish it. Their handling of that content is governed by their own policies.
- With service providers: hosting, database, and email delivery providers who process data on our behalf.
- For legal reasons: to comply with a lawful request, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
- In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.
4. Your Choices and Rights
- Access and update your name and email at any time from Profile & Security.
- Disconnect a social account at any time from Connect Accounts. This deletes the stored access token for that account.
- Turn off Auto mode at any time so Snapzi stops selecting and scheduling posts for you.
- Close your account by contacting us at support@snapzi.ai.
State-specific rights (United States)
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, to opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other state residents may have similar rights under their state privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@snapzi.ai. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Publishing records and audit logs are kept for as long as needed to run the payout process, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When you disconnect a social account, its access token is deleted. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information except where we must retain it by law.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Snapzi uses browser storage to keep you signed in (your session token) and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out.
7. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for anyone under 18years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@snapzi.ai and we will delete it.
8. Security
- Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes (BCrypt).
- Social media access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
- Access to production data is limited to people who need it to operate the Services.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services link to and integrate with third-party platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read their policies before connecting an account.
10. International Users
The Services are operated from, and your information is processed in, the location of our infrastructure providers. If you access the Services from outside that country, you consent to your information being transferred and processed there.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated through the Services.
